Shiprocket lists about 35% above issue price after IPO subscribed 99 times
Finlaunch Newsdesk · 19 August 2026

E-commerce logistics platform Shiprocket listed at ₹131 on the NSE against a ₹97 issue price, close to where its unlisted shares traded before the IPO.
Shiprocket, which provides shipping and logistics services to online sellers, listed on 19 August. The report put the NSE listing price at ₹131, about 35% above the ₹97 issue price, with the stock opening near ₹129.5 on the BSE. The ₹1,617 crore IPO had a price band of ₹92-97. It combined ₹885.50 crore of new shares issued by the company with a ₹731.98 crore offer for sale by existing shareholders.
The issue was subscribed about 99 times. Institutional buyers (QIBs) bid about 123 times their quota, non-institutional investors (NIIs) about 89 times and retail investors about 46 times. The company plans to spend much of the new money on AI, repaying debt and acquisitions.
Why it matters for unlisted-share investors
Before the IPO, Shiprocket's unlisted shares traded at about ₹130, according to the report. That was very close to where the stock listed, so in this case unlisted-market prices were a fair guide to listing-day pricing. This does not always happen, and listing outcomes vary from IPO to IPO.
