RentoMojo closes debut day about 32% above its IPO price
Finlaunch Newsdesk · 17 September 2026

Rental startup RentoMojo listed about 19% above its ₹404 issue price and ended its first session up roughly 32%, after an IPO subscribed close to 73 times.
RentoMojo, which rents out furniture and appliances, began trading on the NSE at ₹482.45. That was about 19.4% above its issue price of ₹404. On the BSE it opened at ₹480. The shares kept rising through the day and closed at ₹534.25 on the NSE, about 32% above the issue price. Its market capitalisation at the close was roughly ₹5,549 crore.
The IPO raised about ₹1,256 crore. Of that, ₹150 crore was new shares issued by the company and about ₹1,105.6 crore was an offer for sale (OFS) by existing shareholders. The top of the ₹384-404 price band valued the company at about ₹4,006 crore. The issue was subscribed nearly 73 times. Accel, Edelweiss and ValueQuest kept large stakes after the IPO. Some early shareholders, including IDG Ventures India Fund III, sold all their shares.
Why it matters for unlisted-share investors
RentoMojo is another venture-backed consumer company to list in 2026. It shows how pre-IPO holders can use the OFS to cash out fully or partly, and how the listing price compares with the valuation set in the IPO. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.
